Windows is an opening to offer a view to the reader to choose and find a direction. My attempt is to stir curiosity, season perspectives and appetize readers to discover their own creativity, to realise that conscious, healthy eating can be a joyous experience!
The book is a hands-on guide with simple, easy to follow instructions and colourful complementary illustrations. Though the primary intent of this book is to inspire children, it's the adults in their lives who would hand hold them to convey the larger message. However, this book also has enough food for thought and action for any individual who chooses to discover a healthier version of themselves! That, in my view, differentiates this from an ordinary recipe book
It provides triggers to relook at the food we eat, to see food as a complex web of relationships and not just a commodity, to see the bigger picture where food is concerned and connect the dots to clearly see the link between food, health and state of being. My objective also is to understand deeply and respect the body's intelligence and tune in with natural cycles and rhythms. In addition, I have also focussed on bringing back and including millets in our daily meals to enjoy multiple health benefits and in doing so, facilitate my readers to also practise earth consciousness.
In conclusion, as I mentioned before, I have provided a window for my audience to open the panes and look into the horizon and choose a direction that suits them best, and that too consciously.
