Sankalpa, Towards Conscious Eating

Sankalpa is an organisation that was birthed in 2015 with the vision to introduce concepts of culinary mindfulness in our daily lives.
As an educationist working with food and children, the most pertinent question I ask myself is, 'How do we tune children into healthy eating?' All the engagements I offer through SANKALPA, are geared towards answering that question. My larger vision is to shift the perspective of all the stakeholders involved, from teaching and non-teaching staff, to parents and children.
I offer various workshops on healthy eating for children, parents and teachers. One primary objective of these sessions is to break the dichotomy of health versus taste that exists today and in the process, take the participants in a holistic culinary journey.

  • Seetha speaks…

My lasting impression of her is as a person who is a vivacious bundle of enthusiasm. She is capable of entering a whole new area of work, be an avid learner, infuse the learning with her own wisdom and creativity and boldly take up new projects to share her learning with others.
